Etsy Every(other)day

Tal and Ellia met at design school and after noticing they loved all the same stuff they decided to join forces and become TICKETTE. This design duo aims to offer products from an innovative and fresh point of view, one that treads the fine line between "want and need" and the thin line between "uniquely unique" and "day to day".

I discovered Tickette some time ago through one of my favorite (and recently retired) blogs Academichic. The necklace I had my eye on for the longest time ended up selling to someone else and my world was just crushed. A couple of weeks later they came out with this little 'X marks the spot' darling and I have been fighting myself not to buy it! They have 2 different, and equally lovely styles of jewelry: WORD CHARMS: jewelry that literally defines itself and DOODLE JEWELRY: jewelry that captures the spirit of hand drawn doodles.

The hardest part about this shop is deciding what to buy first! Which one is calling your name??

Top 10 Tuesday

1. Silvia Pelissero

Nothing can really describe this girl's work besides breathtaking. Based out of Rome but currently touring around France, you can check her work out here, here and here!

2. This adorable, simple and cheap DIY from Cupcakes and Cashmere.

I haven't finished making my own yet but (minus the flowers) I bought ALL the supplies to make 2 of them for about $15. How can you beat that???

3. The Help by Kathryn Stockett

I'll admit it. One of the only reasons I picked up this book was because I was so excited for the movie (which was mostly because I love Emma Stone). But, the book wildly surpassed my expectations and now I'm almost scared to see the movie for fear it wont be as good as the book!! Stockett makes you fall in love with the characters literally from chapter one and your attachment to them grows so much that by the end of the book, you'll be sad to see them go.

4. Tinashé: Mbira version of "Zambezi"

That instrument is called a Kalimba and is officially on my birthday wishlist.

5. Camila Vallejo

Chile's Commander Camila, the student who can shut down a city. Camila Vallejo's call for better and cheaper education has seen student protests transform into a two-day nationwide shutdown.

Read all about about the girl who lead a march against over priced education that was strong enough to shut down sections of Chile's capital city here.

6. Ke$ha vs. The Beatles - Tik Tok Together

You're just going to have to trust me on this one.

7. City Bird Dress

Let me convince you of the endless possibilities of this darling dress from ModCloth: Wear it to work with a red cardigan and matching heels, ditch the cardigan and throw on some off white wedges for a day on campus or an afternoon coffee date, or a pair it with a a jacket, tights, a cable knit scarf and your favorite boots for the perfect fall dress! Plus, who doesn't want a dress covered in little bird hanging in their closet?

8. This.

Just a friendly reminder from all of us in Florida to everyone in the North East :-)

9. Calming the baby beast.

I have the exact same reaction to that song!!!

10. Better than sex cupcakes..

Haven't tried them yet... but I'll let you know the final verdict!!

Etsy Every(other)day

Gourmet herbs and spice kits, exotic BBQ rubs, tasty popcorn kits and salts, and cocktail party supplies to make your signature drink perfect. Fresh, quality ingredients and recipes you can't find at the supermarket -- so you can cook, experiment and entertain at home!

Dell Cove Spice Company!! I can't tell you how many times I have placed something from their shop on my favorites list! Right now the only one I have purchased for myself is the whole peppercorn sampler and let me tell you, I am in love.

The tins are magnetic and food-grade so the spices wont dry out, get wet or break when one of your cats knocks it off the refrigerator. Similar magnetic food tins will cost you $2.99 a piece at any kitchen supply store and they don't come filled with yummy spices! So at $9.95 for a set of 4, this shop just can't be beat. The peppercorns are so tasty and even look really pretty all lined up on our fridge!

Perfect gifts for that special chef in your life, wedding present, house warming gift or (if you're like me) a treat for passing all your exams at the end of the semester ;-)

Baked Buffalo Macaroni and Cheese

1 box (12 ounce) macaroni
1/4 cup butter
2 1/2 cups milk
1/2 cup of buffalo wing sauce (I used Sweet Baby Ray's Marinade & Sauce)
1 egg
1 cup grated mixed cheese (I used Colby Jack)
1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese
Pinch of black Pepper
1 tsp Salt
1 tsp Pesto

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook pasta till al dente. While the pasta is cooking, in a separate pot, melt the butter. Stir in the milk, buffalo sauce. Simmer for about 10 minutes.

2. Temper in the egg. Stir in 1 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese. Season with salt and pepper. Evenly mix the pesto in with the pasta. Fold the macaroni into the mix then pour it into a casserole dish. Top with 1 cup mozzarella cheese. Bake for 30 minutes.

3. Remove from the oven and top with 1 cup grated mixed cheese. Bake for an additional 20 minutes.

4. Let food rest for about 10 minutes before serving.
